Hey for all u guys who have ski boats with inboard engines u should try this hang off of your plat form and drive the boat at like 5 mph dude it feels so good gotta try it Wink

What you are describing is called Teak Surfing, and it is a VERY BAD idea. The position you put yourself in is right next to the exhaust port on your boat, carbon monoxide poisoning is a very real threat. To everyone out there, do not do this. Again, it is a bad idea, very dangerous. Here are a couple links, read up on it yourself.

the website said "teak surfers do not wear life jackets" i guess im not a teak surfer.
how long does it take for carbon monoxide to hurt you? cause we never stay on longer than 2 mins. or so. i thought about that before but figured you would get dizzy or something before you died. hence the life jackets.

Yeah, I had a small carbon monxyde poisonning lately and it makes you weak, you vomit everywhere and you lose any sense of balance... Kinda like when your drunk, but without the fun feeling...

barefooting's actually not too hard at all. you just need smooth water and some upper body strength. a barfoot suit helps cause the water beats the hell out of your balls when your trying to get your feet under you.

hahaha, thats how we got kicked off shadow lake... we would get 3 people with ropes, and 2 people hanging off the deck, and just hold on as long as possible... its pretty much barefoot water skiing, u just hold ur breath and push your chest out and soon begin to surface.. but yeah... iv had some bad experiences....just lemme say 2 words.... Velcro.....Pubes.....nuf said.

if I go the right speed (at least behind my boat) I can actullay let go of the platforn and body surf on the rooster tail behing the platform. its easy to get left behind though if your driver goes a little too fast.

We always hold on to the rope a ways back and hold on. It's a lot harder to hold on to so it makes for better battles! Mr. Green
