I'd like to have a wakeskate and wake surf board, but I can't justify the money right now. I've seen articles on how to make your own skate but couldn't find any posts about it. If I were going to make one I'd want a concave shape. Has anyone attempted this or have an article on how to do it?

I don't know if it's possible because it seems that wake surf boards are compression molded but could I apply the same technique as the wakeskate for a wake surf board with a larger shape?

yeah, I figured it would be a little too new, but for the people who had a lot of experience with wakeskates and surfers I thought they might be able to tell me if they thought it would be possible to build a large wood wakeskate in the shape of a surfboard and attach bigger fins on there. Basically if I could construct it the same way as a wakeskate.

i dont think you could make a wakesurf board out of wood. not as bouyant as foam, heavier, and it would be pretty hard to get a good shape.
