Well i found the perfect lake for wakeboarding. nice sized and never a single person there! Anyway the only problem is it has quite a bit of algea in the water, not thick stuff but tiny particles all over in it. I have an 03 mobius lsv and was wondering if there are any particular procautions that should be taken when driving in water like this? Any advise is appreciated.
thanks |

| You just described the Lake I go to. I've been going there for years and have not had a problem. I try to fill up my ballast in the cleanest water I can find. You probably will want to wipe your boat down as soon as you get out of the water. Actually, you'll want to do that no matter where you go.Where are you located? Here the water will get the green junk in early May to mid June. Then it settles down. |

I go to a local lake like that. All I do is empty my fresh water intake filter often. (Which I might add is freaking gross!) Keep an eye on your temp guage to make sure your engine isn't running overly hot.
The other issue is the people coming back in the boat after boarding all dirty. Makes for alot more clean up. But if you're a little more carefull it's all good.
Other than that I suppose just make sure it's deep enough. _________________ Riders Inc. |

| Our river is very muddy, and my speedometer on two different boats has gotten clogged and stopped working. |

| So it's not just me? We use the tach and the shape of the wake. |
