GCWA Texas Round Up - Come join the Gulf Coast Wakeboard Association for the 1st Annual Texas Round Up - We are offering to share one of our favorite (and one of Texas' Best) riding spots with all wakeboarders in Texas. We are organizing the event with 2 goals in mind.. wakeboarding and fun..

No competition, No Format, Just wakeboarding, Just Texas ..

When: Friday April 11 - Sunday April 13.

Where - Trinity River - Trinity, TX (just outside Huntsville, TX)
Who - Hosted by Gulf Coast Wakeboard Association inviting all members of 360 Wakeboard Club, N2 Wakeboarding and DallasWakeboarding.
All other riders in Texas that want to meet other wakeboarders from around the state.

Tentative schedule.

Friday April 11th -

Arrive at Bells Camp and or Hotel Check In -
We will have campsites reserved on the river at Bell's Camp , RV spaces and Tent sites available
There are Hotels in Trinity about 5 minutes away if you prefer a hotel
Social Gathering at Bell's Camp
There is a bar located on the premises at Bell's Camp and we will have an informal gathering to meet and hang out that night.

Saturday - April 12th -
Free Ride 9 am - noon
We will have a brief meeting at 9 am to help with river directions, ride hook ups and general questions. From there we will have free riding till noon..
We are working on having some of our local dealership's provide new boats for you to be able to check out and ride behind

Lunch will be served from 12-2 at Bell's Camp (Probably Burgers.. but still looking for the cook) , Frosty Beverages will also be available.
Raffle at 1:30

We will have a Shot gun Ride at 2pm for those looking to meet new people(All interested riders will drop name in hat and each boat driver will draw 3 or 4 names till boats are full)
230-till dark Free ride
We will try to have a grill available for those wanting to cook.. there are restaurants in Trinity(10 minutes) and Huntsville(25 minutes)
Party at Bell's Camp.. We will convene upon Bell's camp for a night of spirits, music, pool and fun. (Its BYOB they only serve Beer and set ups)
We are hoping to book the No Where Texas Band a local Huntsville band and GCWA favorite.

Sunday April 13th -
Freeriding, Packing and Driving Home-
We will have information on local Church services for those would like to attend.

We welcome all folks to come and enjoy the experience.. Our club has riders of all levels, and riders of different backgrounds and walks of life... we have members that range from age 2-45 and are activatly recruting others to help spread the word of our sport.

Camping and Hotel Information
We have reserved 12 camping spots with Electricity and water. Cost is 18.00 dollars per night, please call and reserve April 1st. let them know you are with the GCWA.
The camp sites are on the water and boats may be left in water overnight. There is a boat ramp on site for those wanting to take boats out of water.
Camping can be done in the same area as the reserved spots, please reserve a spot or email me for me details

There is a hotel for those of you looking for more amenities. We have talked to a hotel in Trinity and he has agreed to give rooms for 45.00 a night with single beds and 56.00 a night for a King Bed. We are working on further discounts. (Check website for updates).

I will be there, I just moved up to Huntsville from Houston over the winter. Love the Trinity glass for everyone all day long. I also hit the San Jac in Kingwod so you guys may have seen me beofre, drive a 02 X-9 Black. I will be looking out for yea'll. If all works out right, we will have T-s to get rid of and raffle things.. I know we will at least have a brand new DNA board to raffle and some small schwag.. As for the riding format.. This will be a weekend where we can all get to know one another and ride with different people..

If you are camping please do not pay Bells Camp. We are paying them a lump sum. I will be posting more info on Bethy Creek Resort our proud new sponsors. They also have cabins for the event if camping is not your thing. They are right on the water and a ten minute boat ride to Bells Camp!!

This will be a blast for all ages.
Please email me to RSVP for camp sites. I am looking at 10 bucks a night if this deal goes through. I will post rates on Bethy creek tonight. or go to www.bethycreek.com call them and ask for Randall Jr. tell him you are with the round up and GCWA!!
