i just recently purchased a 99 mastercraft maristar and when i put in forward to cruise slow there is a clicking noise coming from the engine. when its in reverse it is really bad but if i speed up it goes away. does anyone no whats wrong or how to fix it ??????????????????

our old sanger used to do that clicking thing like the transmission is grinding or something, but i think its alright.

why did you make the same thread twice? just give it some time. last time a guy posted a thread 4 times, erik got mad at me, so im being nice today Mr. Green

You could get it checked out, but if it is more like, a thud, its probably just the engine going into gear-according to my good buddy who works at a mastercraft dealership, you can do that as many times as you want and it will make no difference.
