I was quoted from the dealer $1,595.00 is it worth it?

On there web site, I can get for $1,100.00.

How difficult is the install????

Sounds like I might be installing it myself & save $500……..

Thanks

Rick

Rick, PP wakeboard pro is available at skiertoskier.com for $989. This topic has been hashed out a lot on this site, search & you should find a wealth of info. I commonly hear that it take about 3 hrs to install yourself. PP comes with very thorough instructions so it's not all that hard to do. I think PP also has a web site that illustrates the install. Why toss the dealer $600 extra bones when you can knock it out in an afternoon. Hope this helps, Boomer.

If you want, ask your dealer to break out the cost of the unit itself and the installation. If he is quoting alot for the unit and little for the installation and you didn't want to install it yourself you could just get it online and have him install it.

actually, it's quite a bit more than that. The kit contains a control module, servo module, paddlewheel module/water sensor, and everything you need (less the hole saw!). What you're also paying for is the support and the actual software that they had to write from the ground up. Also, I believe it would be classified as a computer, as the difference between a computer and a calculator is that a computer has at least 64k of memory. I seriously doubt that they fit the entire software package in less than that. Razz
