SLider question? ? ?

Im goin to make a flat slider this summer and i was just wonderin how long and how wide you all think i should make it? I guess you could consider me a beginer at riding sliders so i want to make it one where it will be easy to do and also to progress on. and also if you could tell me what i should use weather it be PVC or FIberon... that would be great ..

no longer shorter than 20 feet..... cuz even that you will be on and right back off. and it wont be any fun... try like 30 feet or something.

i made just a wood slider last year for hitting with my wakeskate and it was just a 2x8x20... or 8 in wide and 20 in long... it worked just fine. i even hit it with my wakeboard and it wasnt ever sticky or anything. i think unless ur wakeskating a flat bar is a waste of time but do what u want... peace

What did you guys use to slide on? did you use PVC pipes or Fibercon or whatever it is called. It seems like that would be easier because it is flat but i dont know .

no it was all wood! no sliding extra material.. and it works great
