I just wondered how the MC Maristar would be for boarding? There are no tracking fins on the bottom! How do they handle, ease of weighting down, etc.

Isn't it the same hull as the X-30 -fins, -ballast, -tower and sticker? If so I would think it has the potential to be a great boat if you add ballast and tower.

mn vtec,

X-2 is a Prostar 205V hull. The X-10 (210) and X-30 (230) are Maristar.

It depends on which maristar and how new it is. I rode behind an older (90/91) maristar (the one with a cabin) and the wake sucked. my 88 ski nautique threw a better wake. the newer one's are sweet from what I have heard though

I have a 1995 Maristar. With enough weight, the wake is great. It runs great and holds a bunch of stuff/people.

so many manufacturers have boats that go under "210"...its crazy...

but anyhow, i know lots of people that ride behind maristars. the newer models i know make great boarding boats with a good weighting configuration. im pretty sure they are made for boarders with families, so i dont see why they wouldnt make descent boarding boats...
