|

I have the choice of joining 2 wakeboard clubs. 1 club has Ski Nautique boats and the other Mastercraft Pro 190's (both clubs have skiers as well).
Anybody got any idea on which one provides the best wake? |

I prefer the Mastercraft wake. My buddy had a Nautique ski boat and we had a Prostar 190. I'd say we rode an equal amount on both. It takes a lot of weight to get a decent wake out of either. They are two completely different wakes, whichever suits your preferences. _________________ Ride harder...

snowandwake, yeah but thats a Wakeboarding Specific boat, the Ski Nautique is not. its made for skiing , hence the name. _________________ Religion. The poor man's alternative to expensive sports and sporting events. - Dave W |

NorCalStud686,
True, but his original question was which one provides the best wake. Correct Craft makes Ski Natique and Super Air Natiques. I don't really think we have to ask Umpalumpa if he will be skiing or wakeboarding, considering he already said he was going to join a WAKEBOARD club. So as I said before, GO NATIQUE! It has an awesome wake! _________________ got wake? |

snowandwake, learn how to spell NAUTIQUE! Oh, and thanks for the hot tip, who knew Correct Craft makes both the Ski AND the Super Air!!!!
The ProStar will give you a better slalom wake, but the Nautique will be better for boarding. How far each is behind each other is the deciding factor. The Nautique's slalom wake is much closer to the ProStar's slalom wake than the ProStar's boarding wake is to the Nautique's. If you don't believe me, test them yourself.
Advantage: Nautique. _________________

I've owned a prostar and rode behind a ske Nautique. As for wakes there hulls are much alike so you need to weight the funk out of them to produce a decent wake. I would buy a Mastercraft over a Correct Craft, but I've only owned Mastercraft's so Its basically up to you on what you like better. _________________ Im sick of seeing these posers with 50k boats who can't even wakeboard. |

| aceyx, you have good logic. i would still go nautique as i mentioned earlier. the nautique hull on the the wakeboarding and ski boats are somewhat similar, and the super airs have great wakes. |

| either way you will have to have a stuff ton of weight to make a wake anything like a SAN or X Star. that said, you can't go wrong with either boat because they are basically the same with only minor differences. |

| I ride behind a 19 prostar we have 300lbs up front a 600lbs bag where rear seat was and about 450 on each side of the engine box.. throws a nice shaped size wake.. no complaints here, but with out the weight the wake is worthless.. |
