Hey all! I at least made an attempt to find what I was looking for before I posted up, but it seems no one has really touched on the topic too much. And, since I believe in shopping without leaving the house as much as possible, I thought I'd ask those folks who have the equipment I'm looking for to fill me in.
I'm looking at a new handle (already have the spectra mainline). I'm looking for one with spectra (because my low-end straightline is really more "low stretch" than "no stretch."
Here's the question (finally). Are there any handles out there that are designed to easily replace the handles? I shred soft grips pretty quickly, but I don't wear gloves, so I like the softer ones. My friend's grip on his handle is a little hard for me, but I'm sure it will last much longer than a soft grip. I want to buy a handle that will allow me to replace the grip pretty easily...maybe once a year or something like that.
If any of you have a handle like that, let me know. I really don't care to spend enough to buy one of the carbon fiber ones, and at my skill level, I don't need one. Plus, it seems like the grips are "built in" to those style handles, so there'd be no hope for replacing a grip.
Thanks for your help! My apologies if I've posted an already-answered question. If that's the case, please post up the link to the previous discussion (I couldn't find it...).
Happy boarding,
