I just learned mine last week.
Here is what I do:
Cut out about 10 feet from the wake and let your board go to a neutral position
Let you board begin to cut into the wake.
Really drive your front knee in toward the wake to help keep your position strong.(Kind of like you are pushing your knee into the wake)
Keep your weight on your toes all the way through the top of the wake and stand tall at the top of the wake.
When you land, keep edging away from the wake on your toeside edge, and try to keep the same amount of speed landing as you did when you left the wake.
Hope this helps. _________________ If you do not like your job, you don't strike....You just go in there everyday and do it really half a$$ed.....Now that's the American way - Homer Simpson. |

Admitting you need work on TS W2W jumps is a step in the right direction. Most guys have way too much pride to even think about it, until little Suzy busts a TS backroll in their face. Then they just stop riding for the day.
This is a big step to becoming a well rounded rider, just keep at it it will come. If you rip from the HS it's just a matter of time before the TS feels just as natural.
Don't bend over at the hips on your approach and keep the handle in tight

make sure your shoulders and hips are squared up with the wake. cut in hard and pop off, _________________ If there is one thing in this world that doesn't have negatives, that would be wakeboarding. |
