| I don't use sliders, but when I was driving home this weekend an idea hit me for a cool slider. I don't know if this is possible or not, but has anyone tried turning an old swingset into a slider. (picture below of my idea) You could leave the swings on it and have a place for fallen riders to sit when it isn't their turn... has anyone done this? It's just a crazy idea I had, but I thought I would share it with you guys. |

| Interesting idea. Only problem I could see is the transition from the sides to the top usually has a bigger radius pipe which would be hard to clear due to the steepness of the incline. If you bolted some PVC on top of it it sounds like fun. Good for photos. You'd also have to watch out for the support poles.. ouch |

| good idea but there are lots of bolts stickin out on top if most swingsets so you would have to cut thoose off |

I also see a problem with sitting on the swings below - Not much safety if a rider falls off _________________ If you do not like your job, you don't strike....You just go in there everyday and do it really half a$$ed.....Now that's the American way - Homer Simpson. |

Yeah, that was what I meant by that...
and about the steepness, you could build your own transition up to the top...

You could put PVC pipe up on top like Wakebrad said...
If anyone decides to try this I would like to see pics/vids of it.... but this does sound really dangerous, but that's what makes it more fun right? |
