My dad is going to buy me boat for wakeboarding and is considering a VIP Vision (1992 Year). Details:

Centerline Length 18'0"
Person Capacity 7 or 1200 lbs.
Beam 86"
Approximate Tow Weight 3400 lbs.
Approximate Weight 2300 lbs. w/4 Cylinder
Approximate Overall Length on Trailer 22'2"
Approximate Weight 2500 lbs. w/6 Cylinder
Approximate Height on Trailer 75"
Fuel Capacity 26 Gallons
Approximate Width on Trailer 92"
Recommended Horsepower 135-225 HP
Dead Rise 17.5 degree

Can I get a good wake from it though? We live in Arkansas and want to spend $5000-$10000 on a boat and I want to go high.

There does not seem to be that many boats available for this price so will this work. I wanna get in the water.

i would shop around a little more, seems to me that there are a few drawbacks to that one:
1...1200 lbs max weight, so not alot of room for fat sacs
2...Does this boat not have a motor on it now? is it an outboard style?
3...for that price range you can get a newer one without a doubt, just look for some a little higher price and remember cash money talks!!! so if you find one for around $11k you can do some talkin and have $8500 cash in hand and show it to the guy as your talkin and you should be fine.....i bought my boat like that and the guy was askin $19.5, i ended up at $17.5 with all of his gear thrown into the mix (6-ski's, 13 life vest, tons of other stuff as well)

If you are looking for the best wake for a boat about $10,000 look into some Ski Nautique 2001's from '83 to '88 i think. Look on www.flipsell.com and www.boattrader.com
