The biggest problem I see in relationships is that people aren't "once bitten twice shy" BUT they act that way. Whay are we alwasy trying to date people that burn us to go and get burned again!?! PChick, you're cool, hot, and funny, and I mean no offense but I think your current situation is a great example. That "cool" guy at the bar said he'd call you. He didn't. Now if you call him then (knowing how most guys work) he will think, "yea i got an easy piece of meat calling me!" Then (knowing how most guys work) he'll end up pissing you off because he actually is (this is just a guess) a jerk. Then you think guys all suck. PChick, I totally hope that this guy is awesome and just lost your number and will turn out to be a deep and kindhearted person becuase you deserve that. But shoot, I've done it! Some girl will burn me and I'll think "chicks suck!" or "relationships are horrible!" And then i'll go and date the same type of girl. "Ya but she's kind of wild and fun and that's what I want." I think girls and guys actually aren't too different and hard to understand. We just want what we can't have. (even if it sucks.) And don't want what we can. (even if it would be great.)

King-Word up brotha! I was thinking along the same lines. If he truly lost my number and wanted to take me out, then he should show some initiative. He knows where I work. He could come in before the show and ask for it in person. I am going to wait for the show. When I do see him, I wont make a deal about him not calling me.

Hell, with all these other tempting offers and by that time I will have probably forgotten all about him! Wink

Well since he doesn't have your number, how would you expect him to call. I know you called his phone, (but unless you seen him put your number in his phone) he still doesnt have you number. He may of seen some ones number and not remembered whos it was and they it got erased. If he didn't make the effort to put your name and number in at the same time then he's not worth it and doesn't deserver to hang out with you. . Your a beautiful person and it's his loss. Smile

I think I was on the good one now I'm on the friends one and I think I will just jump off because she doesn't deserve to be my friend. Don't sweat it Lefty...you spent some cash and have a boat - she'll come around. Chicks just don't operate on the same clock we do. Call her on Tuesday night and act like you couldn't care less that she didn't return the call, as if you never called. If you make a big deal out of it, it will be a big deal. Remember what your goal is - to get her to go out again - and stay on course.

My tip for leaving voice mails - explain little and leave a number. That way they are calling to talk to you, not show up for whatever event you told them about.

You always think the worst...mostly because you know what you do to duck calls from people you don't want to talk to... She might have a legit reason for not calling. Stay on track bro - just like being up a run in the 8th inning at Disch-Faulk and giving up two hits with no outs...you're bummed, but you still have to get the job done.
