| What does everyone think of Gator Boards and how do they compare to CWB and Hyperlite? Also, what models are good for what styles? |

i like them. i dont own one but ridden one. i really like them. most of there boads are pretty loose and more of a freestyle board. West $ide style is what they are good for! dont let hyperlite take over _________________ AZ |

thats a good point, im magical, that and ive demoed alot of things but at least i got varity instead of sticking to 1 company i couldent stand that, like each company has its good sides and bad sides so i couldet just stay with one cant stand HL bindings though _________________ "We forget in life that we are not human beings living a spritual experience, but spritual beings living a human experiance."

| I own a CWB and have a Hyperlite coming, but the shop i work for is thinking about picking up Gator Boards and asked me what I know about them so I was wondering if anyone thinks it is a worthwhile thing to do since I have no idea how they are quality wise, riding wise, anything... |

Only one I have ever seen in person is the one Gator was riding when he was here at the Delta last fall.....it looked pretty good. I think he rode it just fine, but I could'nt tell you how they ride myself.....
Gator, if you are reading this.....let's see some of your stuff on the west coast, man! |

You're going to have a hard time selling them. No-one knows what they are.
keep in mind....5% of wakeboarders actually know what the hell is going on.
This is not to say they aren't good. We all know Gator rips. _________________ beer |

| I haven't even seen a Gator Board in ambush/Buywake. I would play it conservative for now. |

| I talked to the rep and they are really cool about everything. Since I filled all of my initial orders with CWB and Hyperlite they will let us be a dealer with minimal inventory at a discounted price. After thinking it over I think we are going to do it, and if they don't sell we can always make benches out of them or I will post them on here... |

Magellan,
That 5% number seems pretty liberal. I doubt that it is even close to that. _________________ http://www.mutinywake.com

The picture looks cool on the Ricky G board.
I only buy a board for the graphics anyways. _________________ http://www.mutinywake.com

| Hey my School is sponsored by Hyperlite and it good stuff.... something for everybody. So does GB. I heard Gator has some $$ backing so he is gonna do it the right way. They will never be what Hyperlite is because of all the HO/Hyperlite Industry domination. But Randy's top 2 riders in the world and he is bringing his board style. Ricky same thing. Gator....Legend. |

I've ridden a couple of GB's boards. The Picket= did not like. Caddy= kiced ass, I really liked that board. And I saw "signature" one but didn't want to ride it, I was having to much fun on the caddy. The pop is good and the swing weight is great, although i would of liked an edge that digged in a bit more, but there nice boards _________________ ODPC |
