Whazzup Rio? There are only 4 towers from Boss now, and only two were last years models, which were damn nice towers.

I always thought the Belmont looked pretty close to the Custom Swoop. It's not surprising to me that they dropped one of them.

I NEED the belmont tower b/c it is more low porfile when folded. The swoop has the large rise above the windshield when folded. The belmont looks much more low profile:

If they dont offer it anymore, i am goign to gowith the titan.

Since the Custom Swoop is custom, I wonder if they can work with you on the front-to-back distance between the feet or other stuff that might affect fold-down height. You should call and ask.

salmon_tacos, I bet they could... especially if they got the boat on-site.

Boss is very accomidating and they will be able to do anything you want them to within reason just give a call to a dealer or even boss. they might still have the bends for a belmont type tower around they just can't call it a belmont because shaun doesn't ride for them anymore....

I am getting a Boss Custom Swoop installed on my Four Winns Horizon 180 right now. I brought it to the factory near Sacramento,CA. I have 11 inches clearance from the top of my windshield to my garage header. They are promising me that they will install the tower so the boat will fit in my garage when the tower is folded down. They seem to be very accomodating. You should call the factory direct @ 916-631-8933. As for me, I'll know how good they are in about a week!

You guys really think they look the same? I just don't see it. I guess the main difference is the lower half, which is huge for the SAN.

eljefepequeno, thats why it's called a custom swoop. It is different for nearly every boat...

Chavez-
I thought they called it custom due to the fact they can size it for different boats, at least thats what I heard. There would have to be a huge difference in the frame for it to match a belmont.

Salmon_Tacos-
That is a 2003 version of the Boss Belmont Tower.

eljefepequeno, the entire tower can vary from boat to boat, but the general look will remain somewhat similar. The most noticeable difference from boat to boat is the lower hoop - yours is a prime example of this. Wink

eljefepequeno,

I see. It looks different from the one they had on their site:

Yeah, I was quite surprised when I first got it, but I actually like it better than the original. I heard they changed it due to Murray not riding with them anymore, so they could still sell a version of it.
