| I can't figure out how to do an ollie on the skate. How is it different from one on the wakeboard? I can't get the board out of the water. |

| I was never good at wakeboarding (or wakeskating to be honest), but I could get air on both & I remember the concepts being the same. Just hit the wake pretty perpendicular & let it push the board up. Of course you can come apart from the skate, but if you hit the wake right it should stay with ya. Sorry I can't offer any better advice, I'm really not good at it & that's all I can remember from doing airs. |

| i don't think she is talking about going wake to wake. Just try to press your back foot down hard then suck your knees up to you. |

| I think its more similiar to the skateboard than the wakeboard. With the wakeboard I just barely push down and pretty much jump and pull my legs up. With the skate I really push the back down hard and then kinda jump just a little, if you drag your front foot it helps a little. Mine are still pretty weak but getting there. Maybe a ride behind that badboy Supra and I could show ya.... |

| A similar concept is when you push a ball underwater and it pops up. Thats basically what you are doing with the board. Different than the 'snap' ollie on a skateboard. Get your rear foot on the tail of the board and slam down the tail. The nose will naturally pop up- absorb that pop by sucking up your front leg, and then follow that by sucking up your rear leg. Its a 'timing' thing, you can start small and build up more pressure and more power as you get more comfortable with the board popping under your feet. |

hmnmm, ok, I'll give that a shot. I guess I need to reallly think about digging the back foot in the water more. It feels totally lame right now... and about going wake 2 wake, it's way different on a skate...
noneya, come down and ride anytime. I should be up there to ride in one or two of the tournaments in July. Keep an eye out for the Threeride in June with Austin, Houston and Dallas. |

Well I do my ollie's very different. I first push down a bit with my front foot, just a quick kick down. Then hit the tail of the board. I find I can get almost 2 feet of pop with this method so it seems to work. It's difficult to explain with out acctually showing you. I have a theory of how this works but It could all be in my head the initial slap down of the front of the board makes a litlle wave as you ride up this wave yopu kick down the back of the board and it give you extra pop. It seems to work for me. This was acctually taught to me by a 12 year old wakeboarder at the local cable. I saw he got alot of pop in his ollies so I asked him how he did it and he sowed me how he poped with his front foot first. I stared using it on skating and it has work well for me so far.
I feel I have made no sense here. _________________ Ek hoe van branderplank ry. |

Blame Me, I'll try that. Since you're in South Africa, it would be difficult for you to show me, but I'll take your word for it |
