Well, today the guys I usually go with in the winter were out of town, I only had myself so iI couldnt really take my boat, so I decided to grab my board n handle and head over to the lake.... Why not? Its a 10 minute drive... I get there and at the docks are some guys with their Wakesetter fillin the sacs... So i go over with my board and handle and some money and asked for a pull, they gladly took me along for a few hours and let me use their dry suit etc. I love CA and the nice riders that go with it. _________________ Got premier? |

That is awesome.
The only time I have ever seen a wakesetter, the guys completly snobbed us because we obviously weren't rich enough to talk to. One day I'm gonna have an X-Star and I'll swamp their shitty boat! Just cause daddy bought you a nice boat after you had been riding for a month doesn't mean your the sh*t!
Sorry, I know I'm bi*ching! _________________ Terminate high thinking |

what are you talking about, the 03 wakesetters are so much nicer than the new Xstars, get a wakesetter, they are like cadillacs, they are so nice, stars and ok, but they have no where near the quality of Malibu _________________

Give me an X-Star over a VLX any day. The x-star wakes are soooo much better than the wakesetter's.
wakehype- I'm glad you got to experience some of California's generosity. That's one of the reasons I love living in NorCal, you can usually find someone to ride with anytime. _________________ "That would make you-"

i duno, id rather get a wakesetter. i dont really like the whole xstar look or feel. yeah iv seen the boat and the wake is huge, but a wakesetter is right behind it, through in a ballast and a few sacks and who knows. i just like how the setters look more then the goofy shape of the xstar, and now xstars are all played out, ever single person has an xstar. and im not too down with mastercraft. but yeah, thats my 2cp.

| I agree, the 03 XStar design is wack. I would either go with last years model or this years Xseries. Trust me, after riding behind both a wakesetter and the xstar, there is no contest. My heart is with the Xstar... |

| danwalton - july/august is summer here in SoCal so the lakes are plenty warm. Most get up to around 25c and the air temp ranges from 30 to 40c. There are a ton of wakeboarders in SoCal so I'm sure you'll be able to find a pull - just post here or on wakeworld. |

sometimes it amazes me how friendly people are. lately ive been at the delta a lot meeting, riding and filming with tons of different people. it seems like every week i meet new people.
i have to agree with p-chick...i rode behind a sick yellow xstar today. it was amazing. im beginning to think that maybe there wont be an 03 xstar cuz its almost march and still nothing to show for it. not even at boat shows. _________________ www.TheLiquidPlayground.com

Premier135chick,
Just some things to consider...
Please keep in mind that just because you like the X-Star, it doesn't mean everyone else has to. We all have our own opinion and preferences. That's what makes us individuals.
My opinion on the X-Star('02 and older), the interior looks cheap, compared to the VLX. The VLX has a much nicer and roomier interior. As for the wakes, the new VLX('03) w/ it's 2nd generation Wedge, the wake big & steep, like the X-Star. It's not as big as an X-Star wake, but it's still big. Henry sold his Sanger and bought a new VLX. We rode behind it all weekend! You know how picky I am w/ wakes. His wake was awesome!
Please keep in mind that these are my opinion, and not that of Wakeboarder.com. Thank you. As you were... _________________ my demo reel

Jumalian-I fully respect that everyone has their own opinion and was in no way trying to shove mine down anyone's throat. I apologize if I ever came across that way. I was just talking about my own personal preference, that's all.
I saw Henry's boat at the end of the summer. Looked pretty dope. But I never truly judge a boat until I get to ride behind it. |

| I'm at Cuesta but am transferring either in Summer or Fall. CP has a wakeboard club, but they are more of a Drunk club, at least their kickoff is...anyways. I'm not a huge fan of faded boat driving, maybe slightly stewed but not faded. |
