why doesnt wakeboarding get much air on the tv in australia?? and does anyone know whether foxtel airs much at all??

Hey Dan,
Wakeboarding gets a fair bit of air on fox, just at the gayest timeslots ever. I remember seeing a fair bit on channel ten on saturday or sunday morning after those music programs, on one of those extreme sports programs, and they showed the whole US pro tour on Sunday nights on ESPN on fox, i hope they do it again. Basically if your hungover on a weekend morning, switch to those extreme sports shows, and MAYBE ull see wakeboarding

11 am on Sunday Morning's, Chilli Factor is on. I think the golf is on for the next few weeks, but hopefully a few weeks or so after it comes back on they'll be running a feature on The Fox/Malibu Tour and the way different wakes affect your riding.

yer chilli factor is extreme sport, but wakeboarding gets sh*t all covrage maybe 5minutes at the most I was wondering about shows that are just dedicated to wakeboarding like 30min or longer blocks of wakeboarding!!!!

hey dan, wakeboarding is still a fairly new sport out here in oz, still one in its infancy, give it some time and it will gain more respect, recognition and air time, in the mean time we will have to make do with videos, which is why it's great to see guys like josh getting started and giving it a go, these are the guys to take it to the people, and gain the recognition wakeboarding needs from the masses

they used to show it a fair bit on ESPN, but now they have sum stuff house golf or sum crappy asss sport like that. all us aussie guys should get sum vid footage and make a long ass vid and send it to ESPN and get them to show it.... Laughing
