Marine Subs ??

Would I be better off buying a marine sub for my boat or a regular sub? Is there any disadvantages or advantages of either way. Also what are the most common size in factory systems 10inch or 12inch. I don't want to pound anyone off the lake but A little bass never hurt anyone. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. The specific sub I was looking at was a Clarion 10inch marine sub 300watts.

Forget marine, they cound like crap and are not worth the money...As long as you don't get a paper sub you will be fine. I do installs at a dealership and we never use marine subs and have never had a single problem.
