My birthday is coming up and me and the hubby were in the neighborhood of the board shop. Wasn't really planning on getting them quite yet but ended up getting me some new bindings!! Was in there forever trying on pretty much trying everything on they had but ended up getting the new Parks which surprised me since they didn't appeal to me before. I'd had my eye on the Temets but were a bit uncomfortable digging into my calf but I really liked that boa thing. Seemed so easy and the guy said has been turning out pretty reliable. I would have liked to tried on some Nice but the local shop didn't have any. Wouldn't want to get any bindings just on hearsay and like to have the availability of a shop's help if something goes wrong. Anyways the Parks were soooo comfy. I can't wait to get them out! Had to get in and share since most of my friends would be all ummm-woopiditydoo _________________ Cause we are strictly business and we also got our pride

Sweet! I went shopping today, too because the only thing better than wakeboarding is BUYING wakeboarding stuff! I got myself a nice pro-tec helmet (silver) and a hyperlite boardbag - I need both since I am travelling to FL in April.
I think you will love the Parks - did you get the red '04s or the blue '03s? My shop has got some '03s at a decent price and I am really considering them. Let me know what you think of them when you hit the H20. |

That sounds great! The same thing sorta happened to me, my uncle went out and bought me a 2004 parks 138 and some 2004 parks bindings (for no apparent reason at the time, cuz my birthday isn't until july, and nothing special happened). later i realized it was because he somehow made a hole in my wall and covered it up with a poster to make it seem like nothing happened at all. i actually probably wouldn't have noticed, but it was britney spears, so it frightened me...
Anyhoo, hope you have fun!!! _________________ I had a dream that I ate the world's largest marshmallow; then I woke up and my pillow was gone... |

I got the 04 red ones. Yeah that whole night I sat with the box on the couch with me Yep I'm a giant tool but kills me to get all this stuff and not be able to use it for months. So now I have a total new setup....desperately needed. The stuff I was on was not good at all or on loan. I got a Era for christmas. *sigh* Is warm outside yet? _________________ Cause we are strictly business and we also got our pride

That is so nice. I love getting new stuff, especially when you aren't planning on it. Yes, it is warm here in Florida, but it was really windy this weekend so you can take consolation in that. Just fly down for a few days and I'll give you a ride so you can try out the new set up. _________________ "It is better to be silent and thought a fool than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt." -- Mark Twain
