Swass, I will do it then.
I took no vow to God when I got married. I exchanged vows with my wife and made the promise to love, honor and protect in sickness and in health... yada yada and all that stuff. God was not mentioned.
So in summary - vow to wife yes, vow to god no.
FYI: Married by a Judge at a lake.
