| Not a fan of the 2 door sports coupes (can't fit my creaky bones in and out of them, plus they are just too small for my needs) but that is a sharp ass ride! Ford did a nice job with those!

Way to Buy American.
I'll take American Muscle over Foreign Ricer anyday.

Looks like a Nissan at the back.
The body looks sweet, but I'm not a big fan of the interior layout.

i dont think it looks very good at all. i would take a 65-67 ANYDAY over one of those things. IMO the body looks to much like a ricer, and i think it almost closly resembles ones of those new RX-8's

I am still pissed. I wanted this car (see pic), and they gave me that. Get ride of that small back window, it looks like crap!

What if somebody took a classic car body, exactly as it was when the car was new, and marketed it with the exact same body but with a new engine? That might be cool, call it something like a commemorative limited edition.

| I'm a big fan of the older car bodies, but I don't like the interiors. I like modern styling inside - if someone came out with a classic body but modern interior, I'd be all over it (that is, if I had the money)

| Dpierce37, couldn't agree more on that rear window, absolutely pointless and it looks badass without it. Interior still looks chincy (sp?)

| Without the rear window there is probably a huge blind spot right there. I have a hard time seeing cars around the B-pillar in my truck sometimes.

| Just adjust the side mirrors so you see what's next to you, not what you can already see in your rear-view. I don't need to check my blindspot anymore since figuring that out.

| My mirrors are adjusted good but there is still a blind spot so I always do a quick check over my shoulder to make sure when switching lanes. I've always driven trucks and can't stand driving a car. Blind spots may not be as bad in cars since you are not above other vehicles.

| Whenever in a 3 way highway I look to my blindspot to make sure that no cars are merging from 2 lanes down into the same lane as me. That's the scariest thing about driving right there.

| ^^^ I almost got into an accident like that in my first twenty seconds on the freeway during drivers-ed. The teacher grabbed the wheel, though and pulled me back into my lane.

i reckon (no bias here ) that Ford Australia have done a heaps better job on their new falcon gt / gtp. i'll do a bit of looking for a pic and some stats. not only the gt's but the XR6 Turbo as well (4.0L straight six DOHC turbo - 240kw very detuned).

The front looks awesome, looks like they put a lot of effort into it. I think they could of put a little more effort into the back though. Ford is an American company and it looks like they're trying to integrate some of the rice rocket industry into the car.

| The silver concept looks so much better since they have the red seats which really make the vehicle stand out.

Actually, most spoilers and wings serve no purpose. They are simply there for looks. I am not saying that all are worthless, but in terms of front wheel drive vehicles, they don't do anything.
Wings that actually work: IRL cars, the wedge on stock cars....I don't know much about ralley cars though.
The idea of a wing is to keep the rear-end down and not getting too loose, what would the point of that on a ralley car that intentionally slides around corners?

| kswiss, I see what you're saying, but wouldn't this help the rally cars slide LESS on the corners? Yes they drift, but the spoiler's downforce should allow them slide less and maintain more speed through the corner.

so they can get the power down out of corners, on gravel straights etc. also controlled sliding.
also, in front wheel drive cars, the spoiler can provide cornering downforce, its not all for putting the power down.
Josh R, are you talking about V8 Supercars, or Touring Cars, like super tourers?
a lot of cars have wings/spoilers that do actually provide downforce, whether or not its required, cough civic cough, is another story.

I think they should take out the 2 lights in the grille. It looks rather dumb if you ask me.

Josh R, V8 Supercars does sound homo, but i was just curious to know whether it was like the 2.0L touring cars (bmw's etc.) or the V8's who developed it.
i always thought that it was developed from the JDM or Jap GT racing or something like that.
