I know this tower is new! But, does anyone have one, installed yet. If so, can you post pics. I've seen the Bu pics from Boss, just like to see on other boats. _________________ SLIP IT ON AND RIDE IT! |

Doug - you interested in one? Looks neat - usual ground welds and, as Bill says, nicely made fittings. Good introductory price. Am kinda tempted too. _________________ Jeff |

Kinda getting tired of the roll bar look on the boat. Also the tower squeeks alot because where the arms attach to the main part, and the mounts in front of the windshield are sloppy, making for a noisy tower. The thing about the Knight tower, I can use the front mounting holes from the existing tower for it. _________________ SLIP IT ON AND RIDE IT! |

Monster,
I don't think the Barewest tower link you posted above looks anythink like the Boss Knight Tower. Barewest does have a PrOzone Collapsable tower that is very similar, but the image you linked to is not that tower.
http://www.barewest.com/prozonecollapsible.php
However, I believe that the Boss Knight Tower looks much nicer and has the famous Boss mounts and welds and it is $600 less even before considering the 10% store credit. The Boss Knight is also available in white at no extra charge which looks great on boats with white (not cream) colored hulls.
It will take a while until we have more images of this tower on various boats since it has only been released for a couple of weeks.

Definately a good tower for someone that wants that look, if it gets popular I'll knock off the ProZone also
Do they have polished? _________________ Founder of Monster Tower Wakeboard Towers

Bill - I think the word play (black knight, white knight) says it all. I don't ever recall reading about a polished knight of the round table!
Anyway, whaddya mean by "that look"? Do you mean a more swoop-looking design?
Also, my Brit sense of humour didn't pick up on what you meant about by the expression that you would "knock off the ProZone". In the UK that expression means one of two things: copying or playing at the beast with two backs. Hence my confusion...... _________________ Jeff |

i really like that tower it is TUFF a great price and i don't think any of the other pricepoint towers can touch it. its a killer deal too cause for less than the price of the swoop extreme or pro zone you can have a Boss Knight with a set of polished board racks..... _________________ Get Rich Or Die Trying |

nwrider1 - forgive me for asking but how do you know it's TUFF? Have you seen one in the flesh and/or used one? All manufacturers says their tower is the stiffest but only one can be "the stiffest" and we know from feedback here that many of them aren't stiff at all.
I'm seriously considering one of these towers but live in the UK so cannot afford to pay the shipping costs then find it's not up to expectation. I'm looking for some serious, fact based input here, not just opinions and heresay.
Thanks to anyone who can help in this regard. _________________ Jeff |

MrBlean,
This tower ships via UPS so the shipping cost will be more reasonable. I have resently learned that FedEx is about 1/2 the cost as UPS for international shipments. I will be investigating that.

Mike - one of your guys (Jacob) is investigating shipping costs for me. Always willing to pay less so if the Fed-Ex thing works out that would be good! _________________ Jeff |

The name of the tower is "TUFF." He didn't say it is tough. _________________

Hang on a minute kswiss, how can it be a TUFF tower when we are discussing the new Boss Knight tower? Why on earth is/would nwrider1 be talking about a TUFF tower when he then goes on to describe the advantages of it being a Boss? In the context used I was assuming TUFF has the same relevance as PHAT i.e. descriptive rather than a brand name. As I wasn't sure, I was asking for clarification. _________________ Jeff |
