I'm not surprised by this finding at all..... heard something about it on the radio this morning. And having not even read this article I bet it probably has to do with the Human Papiloma Virus or HPV and the strains that can cause Cervical Cancer.

THis is a stupid article, as oral sex does not cause mouth cancer. The HP virus MAY cause oral cancer. And you can only get the HP virus by having sex with someone who already has it. This article, if real, and I doubt that it is, is irresponsible sensationalism to grap attention.

THis is like saying "Lickig something on fire causes tongue burning" No Sh@t dumb-ass. But won't catch fire if you don't lick something that's already on fire.

cameraboy, HVP has been around for many years. Being that it is a virus, it does come and go. There by making it undetectable.....just like Herpes ( aka Cold Sore) as an example.
But because there are multiple strains, 3 specific strains can cause cancer ( #'s 16,18, 40??).
Yes the article maybe generalized for the public. The only reason that HVP is getting more air play is due to the fact it is difficult to detect.....it virtually has NO symptoms.
