Well, you really find out what class you're in when you enter a tournament but I can comment on the bindings as easy in and out and good support and cushon. I haven't ridden that board so I don't know. _________________

I enjoy my 140 motive. I'm not sure what everyone else's feelings are, but when the water's really smooth, I like using a continuous board, and with a little chop, I'd rather use a 3 stage. Anyway, I learned on it, and I don't think I'll outgrow it's performance in this lifetime. I have an 02....not sure if they still have the "mondo" center fin on there, but I'm thinking of shaving it or getting smaller ones. _________________ I'm real nice 'till you piss me off.....so don't piss me off. |

| The motive is a good board that definitely won't hold an intermediate rider back at all |

The 140 Motive is on the left (with the Byerly 142 Graphics). _________________ I'm real nice 'till you piss me off.....so don't piss me off. |

I remember a brief discussion about this a while ago. Something about hyperlite having a bunch of the Byerly 142 graphics sheets left over.....or maybe something about the Motives being a blem...something like that. I will say this... BUYER BEWARE on ebay! I just saw some guy selling a "byerly 142" and it was the same exact motive I've got. I sent him a message and he sent me some lame reply. So, possibly some dumb shmuck is thinking he's getting a byerly (3 stage) and he's getting a motive (continuous). Just a little bit of warning... _________________ I'm real nice 'till you piss me off.....so don't piss me off. |

| jeffrey_25, its a blem. ive seen a parks with tfd graphics and a parks with no bottom sheet so you see the dna core. i like it when the graphics are messed up and you get them cheaper too. |

| I have the Motive 140 and love it. I have to agree that a three stage board may be better in choppy water b/c the Motive definately doesn't like choppy water. It is a fun board and it seems to work for all levels of riders that come out on my boat. I would like to get a Parks 138 before the end of the year however. |
