Have any of you gone from a shorter version to the longer version of the same board? Did you like the step up or prefer the shorter size? What would be some of the pros and cons of moving up in size?
I'm 5'11" 140lbs and ride a '00 Belmont 134. I like the way the board rides, but wonder if the Motive 140 would be better. And, nope, no place to demo. |

| I went from a Fluid 137 to a Motive 140 back to a Parks 138. The larger board felt more stable and smooth on the landings, but seemed slower in rotations for me. I perfer the Parks though over both of them, it just rides like I want it to. I'm 5'9 150. |

I have a Trip 138 and a 133.5. I'm a little big for the 133.5 (6'2", 185lbs), but have ridden quite a bit. It's still fun. But my lady will ride the 138 this year and I just got a Premier 140 DNA, so yeah, I'm movin' up in size. Looking forward to some warm weather! _________________ www.MidwestMilitia.net |
