The bigger the wake, the better for me since that is what I am used to. Hands down an X-Star or this year's X-Series. Then coming up in second and third would be a Sanger and a Wakesetter, if all weighted down of course.
I got used to riding behind a smaller wake because that is all that has been available to me this month. Then yesterday I rode on a Mastercraft with three fat sacs. Took me one run to adjust. Yes ladies, size does matter. I like big wakes and I cannot lie. Hhhehehehehhehehe |

| I bought a '99 MB Sports Boss 190 this spring. Don't have any ballast yet, going to install a semi-automatic system over the winter. Yes, I do believe that size matters, always have. |

| I'm a professional boat mooch. Whatever boat has room for me is the boat I'm riding behind. Nautique, Mastercraft, Malibu, Tige, Moomba, Toyota...I've been behind them all. Never been behind a Sanger. |

| man...this sucks..you guys all have great wakes and boats when mine just plain out sucks. its a 79 kayot deck boat with a wake up to my ankle. we've tried adding weight it just doesnt help it get bigger but its still a horrible shape. ive even said i would pitch in for a nice boat and my parents still wont let me get one! I'm ready for inverts and am working on my 3's (a little inconsistent right now) and 5's (havent landed it yet) now but its pissing me off cus i cant do it behind my boat so i have to find a ride whether thats waiting for my friend with the supra to come up or with some random strangers who nice enough (after i mention money) to take me...oh well some day soon i hope..sorry for this sob story cus i know u guys could care less. |

I feel you on that. I am proud to admit that I am a BOAT WHORE. My friends know to call me anytime they take their boat out because chances are I will cancel whatever I have planned in order to get out on the water. I make a decent third and always pay for gas. |

Am in the process of buying an 03 SSV, but currently we have an 02 Outback LS.
Grlywake, that is AWESOME that you had the patience to save up for your boat! I wish I could do that, I am the financing queen! Congrats! |

I used to ride behind a boston whaler, ha.
My dad just got a new boat, a cape horn 17', it's better than the whaler, with the whaler i had no wake and had to bunny hop for everything. now the wake is a little higher than my ankle. no pylon, my dad wants to buy a tower but he refuses to pay more that $400.
I rode behind a nice boat once, yes once. and Xstar, when doubleup had an exhibition here. it was so sweet, the wake was like knee high. _________________ ...say goodbye |

I ride behind a Mastercraft Prostar 190. It's not a new boat but it still gets the job done just as well as any other boat. I love it! _________________ Always look up and live life to it's fullest |

This year, I am riding behind my friend's '03 Moomba LSV Gravity Games edition... it's a great wake all weighted down! Also been behind a SuperAir, XStar and the new B52 Team edition... those are awesome, too! We learned behind a little 17 foot runabout and I have to say that to keep improving, you have to have the big wake! Oh yea, and I rode in the ladies boat (a Cal-Air) this weekend at Midwest Wakefest... it's probably my least favorite, especially for beginners. The boat is super-wide, which makes the wake wide. And you have to go pretty fast to get the wake to clean up. _________________ www.soulriders.com

In April we (boyfriend and I) purchased a 2002 MasterCraft x10. LOVE IT!!! With three ballasts, an additional fat sac and a boomin' system, it's an awesome ride!

OK, I need some friends like you. I had planned for almost a month that this weekend some friends and I were going riding. Everyone was all set to go and assured me that they would make it and were pumped to go. so then like a week ago one person backs out. I wasn't too worried because there were still five of us going. Then, last night two other people told me they couldn't go because something came up. As if it wasn't bad enough that they cancelled, they also waited until the last minute to tell me. So needless to say I'm a little bummed about things. Need to find some friends with your mindset.
Something came up? Yeah, wakeboarding came up and I'm gonna cancel anything else I'm doing so I can go. Shouldn't be the other way around. _________________ How do you apologize to a friend for something like that? Flowers would not be enough. |

I ride behind a 1986 American Skier (think ski natique 2001 - it's the same style). No tower, I use a pole for now. It has a decent wake. Once I get a bit better, we will be adding more weight. I'm just working on not breaking my neck for now )
