Wake4Life08, being that you're 13 doesn't say much about your ability to rate entertainment. We're not looking for a "Babysitter"
When you're old enough to have a drivers license, over 21 and live on your own, then I believe you can give *WE LADIES * a little more input about entertainment. |

Attending a Wakeboard Camp is for learning and improving skills, meeting other Wakeboarders and making new friends.
Wake4Life08, It's quite obvious you cannot diffentiate between the two.
Like I said before: You're a teenybopper, you still don't have a clue what females over 21 like to do for fun. A keg party stuck in the middle of nowhere, with older poeple living in the same house and no other males around, is, I REPEAT - IS NOT what ladies want.
May I suggest that you not respond again, since you're sounding more and more of a doofus. |

just to offer a little bit of insight. . . . if you all decided to go to TWC, you could opt for airport transportation to the camp. If you all coordinate, I'm sure it wouldn't cost much more than about $30 each... plus, when I was there, ont he return trip to the airport, Kyle Schmidt took people fro like $10 each.
The Projects is out in the middle of nowhere. It's really far from anything else in orlando (by really far I mean like 45 minutes... depending on traffic). But from what I understand, it's a really great place to ride. Plus, staring at Keith Lidberg can fill up HOURS of your time! lol. I'm heading up there so he can teach me how to hit sliders later this month. I'll let you all know how it goes. _________________ SlidingGlass.com

Tigerblp, Keith is definitely a person who you can sit for hours and watch board!
Personally I would go to OWC to learn how to hit the Sliders. More people to watch and learn from. Maybe you can get Keith to work with you there. |

TWC doesn't have any sliders there right now. Aside from the ones that got broken by some bad storm they had about a year ago, they had to take the remaining 2 or 3 down for some reason. But i've always heard that the projects is the place to learn to hit them. The guy, Pat, who builds them there builds sliders for the pro tour and other wakeboarding comps, so they're supposed to be really safe. _________________ SlidingGlass.com

Just my perspective and opinion: I would rather have a cable pull me than a jetski when learning sliders.
If I crash and burn, I have time to reflect while walking back to the starting dock, as well as watch other people riding the cable.
While the jetski can pick you up, would you really want to be the one driving the Jetski when someone is learning sliders for the 1st time?
Nothing against Pat and the Projects, I know he has very well built sliders.
They are for the more advanced riders, ( the last time I was out there). |
