1/8 inch

does any one know where i can get or order some 1/8th inch ply wood....ive looked and everywhere and all i can find is 1/4 or 1/2 inch. Or will 1/4 inch work and how many layers. thanks

At that thickness you are looking at veneers - single layers of thin-cut wood to make plywood. Any good woodworking store will stock veneers. Home Depot and Lowes typically do not - this is furniture grade stock. I assume you are looking to press your own skate deck - alternate the grain and use as many clamps as can fit on the deck to prevent bubbles, waves, and delamination. It is hard to get it right without a mold and a multi-ton press. Good luck.

I looked on the internet and found some that was like 31 dollars for a 4' by 8' sheet the only problem was the shipping was 85 dollars, then i talked to my dad ans he said to go to a lumber yard and they can order it for you and it just comes with their normal shipments. so go and try to find a lumber yard in your area and talk to them
