Yes I did a search!!!!. could not find any good specific details of a Vdrive heatercraft install. Saw one on wakeworld but I believe was direct drive. My main concern is getting hose past exhaust manifold etc. and not burning a hole in it. any leads on good sites or advice appreciated

The exhaust manifolds are not going to get hot enough to burn a hole in the hose. They have water flowing through them which keeps them fairly cool not like a car where that could be a problem. If you have any specific questions on the install let me know I have installed a couple of them on direct drives.
