I know My last post asked about X10 and Launch but, I went to the LA boat show a few weeks ago and saw a Malibu Wakesetter VLX and a Super Air Nautique 210. I am driving them both tomorrow. What do you think of them?

| Both are proven wakeboats! Any specifics you want to know. Once you test drive them you should be able to form your own opinion and fit a boat for your needs.

I'm sure you can figure out which one I like. Both are very nice boats. As everyone says, once you get to a certain level of boat, it is all personal preference. Before making a deal, check out the following two websites to see what actual owners of these two boats have to say.

| I was so turned off by my local Malibu dealer. My $40,000 wasn't enough so they walked away as if I were a bum off the street. I'd vote Nautique (or my own personal favourite Svfara)

This is totally off topic...
prestige,
Same experience in Kelowna with the Malibu dealer there; he was terrible. We left him three phone messages that essentially said "we are going to buy a boat, what can you offer"... and he never got back to us... then treated us like morons when we were in the shop.
The guy doesn't realize how much business he loses.
Oh well, it's his loss. Instead, we went down the road to Rayburn's and bought a Mastercraft. We got an amazing boat that fit our needs, plus amazing service and friendly people.

definately check out the wakes. they are very different. I ride nautique and have a hard time adjusting at first to the bu wakes. I would vote for nautique though

| You really can't go wrong with either boat. Check out the dealers closely as they tend to make a huge difference in your overall experience. You'll probably pay a little more for the CC...

| here is my take on the whole scenario having dealt with both of these boats and owning an x-star myself, when i think of a vlx and an xstar, they are more chill wakes. if you arent in the mood to go big, you dont have to, you can take a relaxing set. with a SAN, there is no relaxation sets, its gonna boot you no matter what you do. i would say go with a a vlx or an x-2 over a SAN for that reason alone and also, the vlx is sooooooooooooooo much roomier. i dont know if that made sense but you will understand once you try them out. you can always charge a vlx wake and get booted but you can take a nice and easy approach in and not get the same booty feel. i dont like the booty feel personally, makes me feel off balance

| I've ridden behind both and both have great wakes. They are different wakes though. I bought the VLX because it was actually comfortable in the boat and had decent storage. The SAN is a killer boat to ride behind, but I feel the Malibu puts the whole package together better. Ride, storage, comfort, accessories etc. Just my opinion of course.

| I own a VLX. If I were to buy another boat, the only other boat I would concider besides another VLX is the Naughty. I think everyone has already summed it all up very well.
