Ive beeen wakeboarding for awhile and i want to buy a wakeskate soon. Im not that interested in wakeskating and am more interested in wakesurfing....when you surf the wake and let go of the rope.... but I still waa try skating
I was wondering if wakesufing can be done with a wakeboard or a wakeskate Or do you have to buy the certain things that look like surf boards...... ( I want to save money by only buying one thing and if it cant be done by using a wakeskate ill probably go with buying a wakesurf baord)any information would be cool

thanks

If you are really light weight, like 100#, then you might be able to let go of the rope using a wakeskate but I doubt it. Wakeskates are just to small to provide enough floation at 10mph.

not 2 small for flotation but for planing on the water. it would just sink cuz theres just not enough surface area, unless ur on a 116 maybe Mr. Green

Ok... one more thing how fast do you go?
and is it hard to get up and let go if you already can get up on a wakeboard?

if you want to wakesurf buy a wakesurf board thats your best bet. its reall easy to get up not much harder than on a wakeboard and you go about 7 to 12 mph and you need quite a bit o weight.
