NBA on ABC/ESPN

A lot of people complained about the NBA on NBC and its announcers. Well, now the NBA is on ABC and they still have most of the same announcers.

Is it me or do they still suck? Are Tom Tolbert and Bill Walton the biggest idiots of the crew?

Funny fact: I dated a girl that went to the same high school as Tom Tolbert. He hated me 'cause he liked her! Laughing

Personally I find Bill Walton comical, and think that adds something to the broadcast!

I think Bill Walton is a terrible broadcaster. He says dumb things like, "the team who scores the most points will win this contest." I haven't heard him add anything to the broadcast. I respect him as a player but he has no skills as a broadcaster.

You need to learn to appreciate the wisdom of such phrases like that NorCal! That's the pure brilliance of Bill Walton. Phrases like "Shaq is a big man!". Those are pure genius.

The best is when you watch college game and they bring in Walton to do it. He usually trys to add something like well they arent quite as good as I was when I was playing but this team is excellent.

i personally try to stay away from those channels. sunshine network and espn are the only good ones.

that's why it's all about dicky v! he's the best basketball anouncer of all time. pair him up with marv albert and any basketball game would be good.

bill walton cracks me up... he's the Madden of the NBA. he's also a huge Dead head and Phish fan. most of those comments are meant as a joke, not because he's a retard

Bill Walton is OK, he is not the best and he does make some really dumb statements. The best are the NBA ones on TNT, they are awesome! Oh and Inside The NBA with Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith, and Charles Barkley is the best show, those guys are pretty funny sometimes! I still haven't got the chance to watch Listen Up! with Barkley yet though, I need to watch it sometime.

Charles Barkley can be funny, but I thought it was pretty dumb that they even had him there for the All Star Weekend. He sounded so dumb with his cracking voice. Dick Vitale would probably make a good motivational speaker, but I'm not a huge fan of his announcing. He just is a little too hyper for me.

idiot maybe wrong word how about most annoying. The guy shows love of the game like no other but sometimes you would rather just watch a game without after every pass hearing did u see that, that was awesome baby!

I like the CBS guy I cant remember his name but hes old school college basketball and he always says, with the kiss Crazy Eyes
