Does anyone have any feedback on the Fat Seats that are available? I have a Malibu Sportster and space is at a premium so if some of my weight can double as seating it would be a bonus.
Thx |

Off the subject. Wake Pimp, where do you board? I'm presently on Walled Lake. Got an older boat. But sacked out, it throws a nice wake!

Wake Pimp...
I just got a seat this winter and haven't used it yet, but I think it will be good. Storing my original back seat takes up alot of space in the basement, but the fat seat looks good in the boat, adds weight and doesn't sacrifice seating. We'll see how well it works in reality as soon as the ice melts! |

Riding on Walled Lake is sick!!! It's a private lake, so traffic doesn't pickup until noon. And it's great during the week! Don't forget, the pro's come out to the Boat House on Walled Lake the Friday before the pro tour in June, to do the double-up contest!

hey, yeah i got a fat seat in my x-5. plus the 300 in back, and people it makes the wake pretty sick. this year though i'm gonna get osme weight up front to get the boat to sit deep all around. will this significantly help out the wake? or just have the boat sit flatter?
thanks

I use a Fat Seat, it makes the wake huge. I also throw a full sack in the walk through, I actually like the wake better with all the weight in the back but it is much easier to drive with some in the front. I have an extra fat seat that I'll sell for $100 plus shipping. I won one in a raffle, this one is used but it doesn't have holes or anything. _________________ Silver Skurfer |

| The only problem I have with the Fat Seat is that it is too heavy for my boat if you put it all the way in the back. I have a SN 2001 and if you put it all the way in the back like a back seat the wake is so steap you trip over it. I have been using the Fat Seat since they first came out, but I wrap it tight around the engine box and I do not inflate the back rest. I have had no issues with quality and it is easy to use. I am starting my 3 rd season with the same one and I ride at least twice a week when it is warm. |

Ummm what about the lauch pad sofa does anybody know anything about it?? Just wondering how it has been qualitywise. Here is a link http://www.straightlineropes.com/gear/launch-pads.php#830601045
Hey lucky I also have a sn 2001. When you push it all the way to the back how far up the side do the legs come up? Does it make it hard to walk between the engine box and and the actual seat? I think I will put mine all the way back becuase Im probably only gonna fill it halfway. I ride with people on all different levels and want a medium sized wake. One last question, is it hard getting in and out with it, it seems like your foot might slip when you step on it, just curious. Thanks for all the help!! |
