A bunch of guys here at clemson were thinking about comming down. But i am trying to decide whether just to go to my house and free ride all i want or go to a tournament and "demo day" and only get to ride a little. It does sound like fun though. _________________ www.hyperlite.com

I live in Panama City... Im not sure who alls coming. I talked to Loren Levine hes coming. Andrew will be here, but im not sure if he will be doing much riding. It will be a HUGE party anyway tho because its spring break. If your thinking about coming I would start booking rooms they fill up fast during Spring Break. Sorry but my floors, beds, and couches are all full! _________________ Screw the wakeboard... ride the wakeboarder! |

Does anyone else think this is a crappy idea to have a tournament held in the surf? Maybe I'm missing the whole point, but when I competed for UCF we wanted the best conditions possible. No doubt it will be a good time, but I question the competition aspect of it.

Sean-
Tally is about 2 hours from Panama City Beach. If you drive slower - probably add 15-20 minutes.

I'm a dawg. I'm trying to get more info on the tournament Location, format? I'm interested in riding there. Will there be divisions or is it all one class? I know a couple of other good riders here at UGA and would like to take a team there. I'm gonna discuss it at the skiteam meeting on Monday.
I heard the rumor about the boat also, It would definately make me want to win. |

Again, I really don't see much of a competition if there is ANY surf whatsoever. I'm interested to see how this all works out-

Gulf CoastRider- On wakeworld they said the winning team would get a boat.
Craig- I totally agree, I think its going to be more of a spring break thing. U know they set up tents on the beach and everybody just lays around, but I have no idea why they would ride in the Gulf. Who knows.... It should be intresting! _________________ Screw the wakeboard... ride the wakeboarder! |

LMoney-
I was thinking/assuming the same thing - an excuse to have a wakeboarding spring break party on the beach. But giving a team a boat for a year is a pretty stout prize to give out at a party.
