Deals at Boat Shows???

Can one find really GREAT deals, not necessarily on boats, but accessories - boards, binding, line, etc at Major City Boat shows???

Especially in the cold - when least thinking about spending money?

What's the majority say??

You can, but you have to know what you're doing (i.e., you have to know the price is a good deal without asking if it's a good deal).

If you're looking for something in particular, check prices BEFORE you go to the boat show - that way, you'll have something to compare against.

Yeah..make sure you do your homework cause I wasn't too impressed with prices this past weekend, but it was the first weekend. Your best bet is to know what you want and go on the last day. They'll probably be more willing to deal the afternoon of the last day cause they will not want to have to pack up all the product and take it back to their store/garage.

Levi, what were you looking at/for?

I looked at BP's LF section and they had some decent deals on 03 stuff... near 50% off original. Also, there was a guy selling the new big ol fat seat (1500lbs) for 135 bux. I guess it all depends on what you were looking for...

You are right about the last day... they want to take as little as possible back to the shop with them!

CC had a great deal, $2,000 rebate they carried forward and another $1,000 at the boat show. Ordered an 04 SANTE for $4,200 less than the December price.

if you want the best deals go the last day of the show cuz thats when they sell em for the cheapest and you might be able to bring the prices down a little bit more if you are a good bargainer.

I wasn't really looking for anything in particular. All I know is that I have enuf junk in my garage as it is! I'm sure there were some great deals, but I wasn't looking too close. I just remember seeing all these companies w/ the new extended mirror mounts (arm the reaches off the tower) and they were a lot more than what you could get them for off some of the wakeboard websites. I was more there to just check stuff out.........

At our boat shows we price things down as low as we can go.

i know that Moomba & Supra have $2,800 and $2,600 worth of free options if you order a boat at the show...most all the dealers though do have special sale prices on their boats 2.
