I'm trying to get together a spring skiing trip for the second week of April, my spring break. I've heard mixed things about conditions out west in April so I'm a little leary. I know it all depends on mother nature but any input on previous experiences would be appreciated. I love Breckenridge and would like to go back there but also would like to try out Utah too. I've never been out there in April so I just don't know. Thanks

The conditions here in Utah are relatively poor but he have been getting a bit of snow lately. I went out last weekend and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the snow if not the depth. Keep an eye on http://www.skiutah.com/snow_report and pray for snow.

last time i went to crested butte (colorado) i saw some things and heard some locals talking about how during spring break they have free lift tickets. i can't validate this but if it's true that'd be a nice place to go to. kinda small but i liked the mountain.

Why dont you all come up to Sun Valley, Idaho March 13th, 14th and 15th. I'll be up there with about 20 other people. It's always a blast. _________________

While I was in college thats how I spent every spring break. Some where out west snowboarding for 10 to 12 days. I think I did it for 4 years and every year the conditions were perfect. The trip to BC was by far the best! Generally speaking conditions are great with the occasional warm day where you can get by with a sweatshirt and snowpants.
