Hyperlite is just another ski company turned wakeboarding like CWB and OBRION. Liquid Force was a true wakeboard company. Hyperlite is also was over price. Like a pair of boots for $430.00. Who has cash like that to throw around. Liquid Force had high quality products for reasonabe prices. Also Liquid Force was more into promoting the sport than Hyperlite.

Personally I thought there boards and bindings were of really lousy construction. My first setup was LF and it lasted all of one season before the bindings tore and the graphics on the board peeled away.

Why target hyperlite specifically? CWB has bindings and boards at the same cost or close to.

no one knows yet. they're trying to find a buyer for EOS. so once they get a buyer, then it'll all be good again. _________________ "stupidity will kill you!"

After working in a wakeboard shop for 7+ years I can honestly say that no company supports its shops better than Hyperlite. The same with HO skis. EOS, was notorious for delayed shipping, lost PO numbers and not a great warranty policy. I am bummed to see them go, but I dont think its time to start tearing apart the companies that are left. _________________ www.midwestmastercraft.com

LF4ever
your trippin dude ive been riding HL for a long time and have never paid MSRP for any equipment HL or nOT.AS a matter of fact MSRP on trips were always higher then HL unless you compare prices of the DNA stuff.I paid $320 for a 2003 1st run Premier 140 dnaand $200 for a brand new pair of belmonts, hmm yea HL is over priced..All prices from alll the companies are right in line ..So get off your ski company trip also CWB and HL as it stands right now have a strong team and awesome equipment so who cares where they started because they are still in buisness and making stuff people like to ride.
Also why cant all you riders of other equipment start a freaking sentence without bashing HL..Cant you just profess your loyalty to your present favorite board by saying something positive about that company??Sounds like your jealous of us on our HL boards and bindings because you talk so much about them..Come out of the closet and go buy a Premier or prodigy because they both Rock !
BTW notice i didnt rip LF at all and made some good points give it a try _________________ "Thanks for Play'n"

I'm with ya Bill, HL is at the top because they make great products and offer great support for those products. Guess what- if the products were not good people would stop buying, prices would go down and quality would have to go up to stay in buiseness. Its basic economics people. An item is only overpriced if people will not pay that price! As soon as people stop buying the prices will fall, gauranteed. But as long as they make quality products and treat the customers right HL will continue its success and growth. So stop whining about it, please.

Don't forget about Double-up, CWB, Gator Boards, and Origin. I have ridden 5-6 different hyperlite boards and found they dont fit my style as well as my CWB Prodigy. Everyone has a different style, dont be stuck on a brand just because alot of other people are. You can still buy Lf boards and suppport them, hopefully they will be bought. _________________ Sliding Glass...It's what we do.

Damn guys
Everyone has different tastes when it comes to riding, and everyone has had different experiences with boards and bindings of many makes. There are people who have had LF boards tear up and there are people that have had HL boards tear up.
Both companies put out great products and offer variety to us riders who like to be choosy as to what we ride. I started ridding on an Obrien, moved to HL, and just bought a LF...I love the LF, and still love the HL. Without these companies competing with and challenging one another, there would be much less innovation and evolution in the sport. I don't wish misfortune on any company in the wakeboarding world. Even if I don't personally choose to buy their product.

Thanks Laser, these forums need more people with open minds about this stuff. My riding partner rides a LF balance with Lf Exo Sucs. I've rode the board and I like it, just not as well as my HL.

yeah tottally, my riding partners ride both ride subjects, one with ultras and one with exo's, i ride a premier with parks, and i like their stuff too, if people would be alittle more open minded i think that they would probably find a few things that they like from almost every company no matter who it is
