Wakeskating seems like it kind of came off the idea of wakeboarding because hasn't wakeboarding been around longer? Like someone wanted to add a twist and make it a new sport. Plus you hear about old wakeboarders and the innovaters of wakeboarding being near 30 or over 30 and the innovaters of wakeskating are still in their 20's lol. Just my thoughts though. I wakeboard and wakeskate perosanally so I'm cool with both.

I mean that wakeboarding has been around longer and it seems like wakeskating kind of branched off it. And you will see 40yr old guys sitting around remembering when they wakeboarded in their 20's but you never see a wakeskater above like 25. So I say wakeboarding.

seems to me like byerly and thomas and mcguckin are all relatively "old" and are both wakeboard and wakeskate innovators.

Ok point made wssx2, but hasn't wakeboarding been around longer? And wakeskating along with skurfing had kind of branched off of wakeboarding and kind of surfing i guess.

Wakeskating is bad as hell, but my heart will always be in wakeboarding. There is something about busting a 15 foot air off a double up that wakeskating just can't compete with.
