I saw this boat on their site, yet I can't really find anything else out. Does anyone know anything about this boat. What's the wake like? Pro's/Con's ---Ya'll know the drill. It looks like a pretty tight boat.

Considering the manufactor- Did they manage to price it under a 100k?

With two kids, I got to get something larger than my 'star.

Just rode in and behind it yesterday! We had eight adults (I use that term loosely) in the boat and had 5 boards on the floor (no flight clips) and space was not a problem! The boat handled as well as my SAN and had even less bow rise. It's handleing is simply amazing for this size of a boat! We put 600lbs in the locker and a 550lb fat sack in each storage area in the back. You could literally put two 550's in each compatment in the back, they are that deep! Even with one fat sack I could have easily gotten into it myself! The swim platform is massive, you could easily help a child put on his or her board without smashing your toes. You Dads and Moms know what I'm talking about! Shocked

The wake was very large and rampy. I personally lilke my SAN wake better but the 226 definately holds its own! It is way rampier than the SAN but it was really large with weight in the boat. A really good transition with a little less kick off the top. Perfect wake for intermediate riders. Who knows, if we had more time we could have played with the weight some and probably gotten it perfect.

I think this is the ultimate family boat. You have plenty of room, plenty of storage, a table for eating, and a world class wake. The boat is definately one of the nicest I have ever been in! Boy, it sounds like I work for Nautique or something Confused

I think you can get into one starting at or around $55,000.00. The boat is already loaded with Cadillac style. All you would have to do is get the tower and ballast added and you would gain alot more friends! We were literally the most popular boat on the water. People actually rode over just to get a look at it!

what do you like best about it so far? Dislikes?

Going from an X-star to this will be a big change in wake. Do you have any ballast in the video?

Yeah, we were running about 1600lbs but we needed a little more weight in the back. The best thing about it was all of the extra room. I liked everything about it better than my SAN, except the wake. It handled great, took on double ups and chop way better, and offered alot more room and storage. The windshield was too long on the sides. I like the SAN's windshield, it allows you to talk to down riders much more easily. If you can get one priced right, I think it is a much better "family" boat than any wakeboard boat I have ridden in yet! I think the wake can be much better with just a little weight added to different places. I don't think it will be the same as your X-Star but it will certainly be enough for any advanced riders.

with standard ballast the wake shape behind a nautique is going to be much different than an x star, an x star is fairly rampy and a nautique is the steepest ive ridden behind. i personally think correct craft makes the best boats, no questions asked. ive got a 2002 super air team edition. its Gods gift to wakeboarding.

Correct Craft web site mentions a "Team Edition" and a "limited" edition, although doesn't really outline differences- I guess I just need to find a dealer somewhat nearby. I can't seem to figure out who the dealer is in Georgia. I guess I'll do the Fla. thing instead. Their fault, should've had a website.

Well after watching the video I can say not only does the boat look like a big i/o the wake looks like it was made with an i/o as well, not nearly as impressive as the 210 Team.

If you can make it down to Orlando, I will try to set up getting you in one for the day. On a test drive you can't really do what you want with weight and what not so a full day and free reign on experimenting would be a much better demo!

You're right about how it "looks" in the video but I can tell you from experience that it is way better than an I/O (not saying that anything is wrong with an I/O Mr. Green

)! But you are also right about the 210, it's my favorite wake by far (that's why I haven't traded mine in on a 226 yet)!

It seems there is always a space vs wake trade off, the bigger the boat the harder to sink eg X30, BU LSV etc. Maybe the new X-star will break those rules.

I agree with Chase (as much as I hate to admit it)... the wake on the 226 was nice, but it wasn't the same as his SAN. It is a much larger boat and probably requires a little more weight to get the wake just right.

If you are looking for a spacious family boat that throws a good wakeboarding wake, this boat is probably a great fit. If you are strictly into wakeboarding, I would recommend going with the 210...

Thank's for the invite and the info. Unfortunately, I pretty tight between now and the middle of May.

I've heard several people mention BU LSV, and X30 as well. Out of these three boats, (none of which I have experience behind), which is the best wake.

It will probably be hard to get an answer to that question. Most people haven't ridden behind all three or even one for that matter. Confused

It would be best to demo them all!

I really liked the boat, but the wake was more of a roller(compared to the SAN). I'd agree with Boozcruz on the tradeoffs btwn family & riding.
