they aren't unemployed yet. they're just waiting for a new buyer for EOS. they'll be back any time now.

Yeah, it just seems logical that he would go. In fact i have wondered why he had never gone before. Parks, Danny, Chad, Ruck, Don't know about Nick Weinacker, all ride for hyperlite. Watson rides for lf, I also wonder about him.

Im sure I read somewhere that shane was once with Hyperlite and they had a fulling out of some sort

I dunno, it would be great to see them on the same team, but I kinda like them being on diff teams. I would hate to wakeboard with my sister, but would love to wakeboard against her, takes the brotherhood competition to newer levels. I say for progression of the sport, keep them on diff teams, but who knows what might happen.

Yeah I like the fact they are on different teams. It lets them highlight their different styles better.

It would be less beneificial for himself to be on that team, its already too big. Look at a guy of Eric Rucks caliber that doesnt even have room to make a pro model, that tells you how large the team is already. Plus its hard for any amatuer to make their way up that team as is, there is no room on the pro squad. And then look at a guy like Ricky G, or even the Heaneys there just plain wasnt room for them. It will be interesting to see what happens out of the whole EOS deal, even if LF gets going there will be alot of Obrien free agents that will eat up spots on other teams that will make it very hard for a guy to break through from Jr.Mens or something. Plus its going to make life very hard on riders like Andrew Cairns, or a Chad Morin or guys like Hansen or Kennedy to keep as high of a place on their teams. This could bring good financial opportunity to smaller companies, but when two companies of that size go down its going to leave alot of very talented riders without a sponsor, and the other companies can only pick up so much slack, which makes it so very hard for amateurs coming up. Somehow though, i have a feeling LF will pull through.

i think it would be good because then the two bros will be able to ride the same products and enjoy everything together but i also think it wouldent be that good because then they wouldent be competing and trying to make there product look better because it would all be the same

I highly doubt the competey as is...... Look at the way the whole pointless crew rides together, do you really think it matters much what label is on the board?

You can still compete against each other if you ride for the same team.

ya. i think it's more interesting if they're on different teams still. b/c it's for more pride if ur on different teams. it's like on the simpsons where bart and lisa r on different hockey teams. the competativeness is way up there.

true true, it will be interesting to see how it all works out. i reckon he will eventually. but i duno what his pay will look like, or how HL are managing to pay their current team as is.
