IMO, racks are often times a waste of money. When I ride usually I am only with 2 or 3 other people. The rack is usually some chore to use, etc. If you have more people/boards on the boat that would increase the utility of the rack. I would just think about it first. They are expensive. Again, just my experience in my particular circumstances. _________________ Check out https://www.facebook.com/darcizzleoffshore |

I think that boardracks are very important.. Before we got our racks we had boards in the boat and it was a hassel to get around them and being as I am pretty anal about the shape of my boat I was afraid that a fin was going to cut the vinyl. We have a pair of skylon boardracks. Talk to your local dealer they will help you out a lot. _________________ VT Tennis -- GO HOKIES!!!

If you got the money go with the titan spinner. I have not had any experiance with them but they seem like good idea. _________________ get off your computer and GO RIDE! |

| I have the FLUID COCEPTS racks on my Titan Tower. I went with the Fluid's racks because they are a lot less exspensive then the Titan's and are as high quality as any rack I have looked into. I also liked the way the boards are bungeed in place as opposed to the Titan racks. |

| Our VLX has the titan tower with the titan spinners. I'm sure if our family could go back we wouldn't spend the extra cash to have them spin. It's just as easy to take the boards out without rotating them towards you. There is a peg that passes through the rack and the tower to prevent it from spinning and if you have the peg out, it may tend to chip the paint on the tower if you are not careful. The rubber lining is starting to peel off on our rack. If you have the wakeboards in the rack you won't notice the peeling but once they come out, it's pretty noticeable. I think the racks look great but if you are very anal about every little detail then you should either look at a different rack or pay extra attention. |

PM me if you want some board racks, cheap. I retail a couple of vendors to choose from. I cannot publish prices here, but I can help you out. Include a picture of your rack so I can make sure to have the correct orientation. I also need a zip code and tubing diameter.
Board racks will keep your boards, interior, and toes from damage. _________________ Original Boarder from 1983

Hey, how do you like your wakesetter? Is it the d-drive? I'm seriously considering getting one in late march/april, and I'm trying to get as many opinions from owners as I can. _________________ I walk 47 miles of barb wire, I got a cobra snake for a necktie, a brand new house up on the road side, and it's made out of rattlesnake hide |

Ours are $195 each and fit any tower. See them at http://www.monstertower.com/accessory1.html They are a knock off of the old Mako design, long story.
I think the coolest racks out there are the NVerts. The Titan spinner is an impressive feat of engineering as well. Wakeside has a great looking rack as well.
Now the nicest racks I've seen in a long time . . . I better not go there _________________ Founder of Monster Tower Wakeboard Towers

MonsterTower, There are reports of inverts falling apart. Makos are great racks and if your (and from the looks they look alike) racks are the same they ar pretty much bullet proof. Oh yea can you post some of these really nice racks that you are talking about. |

I'm lurking the board and hearing lots of Nvert comments, someone that knows somebody there needs to contact then and have them spend some time on the boards. Their customers need to know what's going on.
BigMac, dont temp me, I'm 40, have teenage model pictures and I'm not afraid to use them! _________________ Founder of Monster Tower Wakeboard Towers

if someone could PM me what they have been hearing about Nverts, or link me to some threads, i'll let them know...
i DO know some people were having problems with their racks, so Nvert sent them back a newer improved model and those situations have apparently been ironed out. i havent heard anything since then though...
MonsterTower, i dont know what your talking about!!! perhaps a few pics might jar my memory?? _________________ www.TheLiquidPlayground.com

scott a, I rode w/ a girl up here w/ an '03 SAN w/ the Nvert racks.
Man, they totally sucked! It was a pain in the ass from inside the boat, and the rubber piece protecting the board would fall out inconspicuously, thus scratching up the board. _________________ my demo reel

scott a, I think the thread was on WW about somebody having problems getting a hold of NVERT about some warranty issues, and even a letter sent to the Better Business Bureau.....I don't have any specifics, so I guess it's just a rumor at this point.
RiDeThaBU, Check out the Mako racks. If you have any specific questions, email or pm me. There are some differences in what Monster Tower is offering and what Mako is offering for '04. You'll be stoked either way. _________________ www.MidwestMilitia.net |

| Just to give you an update on Nvert. We have no warranty issues. In fact have the best warranty, an customer service program in the industry (five-year warranty). All warranty issues have received a new upgraded version resolving past problems, and there are a couple of customers waiting for the new 2004 version. Other then that we plan to release a completely new line for 2004. Please feel free to contact us if there are any questions. Thank you. |

Clear up what? Anyone could've created that account.
Anonymous "Brand X staff" posts are very suspicious. Is there a reason why you don't want people to know who you are? If Nvert is so customer-oriented, why didn't you at least add some company contact info to your "Nvert" profile? If you have "no warranty issues," why didn't you back that up by offering specific advice on how to exchange defective product?
If you are an Nvert employee (which I highly doubt) you are not doing your company any favors. |

| cameraboy, I love the wakesetter. My dad bought the VLX thinking that nothing compares to a Malibu. Everything about the Malibu is fantastic such as the minor details in the finish like the carpeted ski locker and the pop-up bow light. Sure there is other amazing boats out there but in my opinion the Malibu VLX is the best all-round. The storage is simply massive, because of this you won't be forgeting anything back on shore. My dad is thinking of upgrading our boat this summer to a 2004. I could safely say our family won't even considering buying anything else. Any money spent on a VLX would be money well spent. |
