holy crap this thing is dope.
im such a newbie at it. i can barely ballance for like 10 seconds.
but yeah, i go down to lowes, and they sell 4 inch pvc (or abs) in 5 foot lengths, so mine cost 10 bux to make, but i can make 4 more. Im at work and have plenty of time to practice, but im on dial up and its crap, so heres my 1 post from work, ur all very lucky. PaYcE

I used o have a 2x10 board that I found in my basement, and put on some duct tape for grip, but as soon as I got my 180 shuvits consistant, I tried a 360 shuvit. The board ended up only doing a 270 and it craked in half when I landed Now I have to find a new one

i have a indo board and can go up on my left foot and balance for a while then slide it out and do a 180. It's basically a 1 footed 180. its kinda hard.

| do you guys put anything inside the pvc to strengthen it? i got some 4" pvc today and have started practising, but the pipe feels (and sounds) like it's going to crack pretty soon. i guess it doesnt matter because it was all of $2. just wondering...

ok i think that cracking sound i heard was my board, cos a little crack is starting to open up on the edge of it. i didn't already have a deck so i bought one from a toy store for the sole purpose of tramp work and indo boarding - needless to say, tony hawk hasn't called me yet asking if he can borrow it.
there's a lot of pressure on the board where it sits on the pipe, so i guess it's not that suprising that its starting to crack. i don't want to push my luck and actually snap the deck cos i want to use it on a tramp.
pretty annoying because i was having heaps of fun - i got pretty good at 180's, little ollies, and also managed to ollie and flick the board around 180 and land on it (don't know what that's called) after only 30 minutes of stuffing around.
anyone else cracked/snapped their deck? or are the quality decks a bit stronger?

| I use a Rollo board, which I think is far better than an Indo. It has a big wooden dowel that runs the length of the board and is held by two bungie cords. It simulates snowboarding and wakeboarding more than an Indo. Plus when you do tricks it is realistic. I can do ollie grabs and shuvits but thats about it. I don't know if the company is still in business but it is an awesome board.
