Discovery Bay Wakeboard School - super cool instructors and kick ass riders, plus, on the Delta (Delta = smooth water all day long)
RiverRat Wakeboard School - super cool instructors and kick ass riders, on Lake Sonoma (I think...not too familiar w/ Lake Sonoma)

you can't beat being taught by Schweene, and Cody Ramsey. Both of those guys are super cool and are insane riders.

Westcoast Camps is da place! Mike is one of the nicest, most genuinely friendly guys you'll meet in this sport with Cody being a close second. Mike loves to teach, he can't help himself - way before he started the camp I've seen him go up to folks and offer advice! The kids at all the comps would just hover around him all day.

I don't think you'll find any schools with sliders in Cali. The liability is just too great and there are very few public waterways that will leave them in. Even if they could get the insurance 1 claim and boom, you're out of business!

Ensane Wakeboard School. Ian Kirk is moving the camp to a private lake this year in Redding. The instructors are excellent.

It's very presumptuous of you to assume that god has time to teach you how to wakeboard.

Are you looking for any god in particular? I hear Zeus has some time on his hands these days - maybe he can hook you up.

Both Ensane and West Coast Camps are awesome. Schwenne is running a sick program out of his houseboat at Lake McClure. I made three trips out there over the summer to do photo shoots with the instructors and help teach, and it was a ton of fun. Schwenne is definitely the nicest guy you'll ever meet.

Here are the websites for both camps:
www.westcoastcamps.com
www.ensanewakeboarding.com
