| I'm looking to go to a camp this year and found one in Austin, Texas called Freeride Sessions with Billy Garcia. I've always wanted to check out the scene in Austin. Has anyone been there or know anything about it? I've scene Billy in the magazines but haven't met him. Any info would be great. |

I've met billy a few times and seen him ride on Lake Austin and at triple Crown. From what I've seen he seems to be a nice enough guy. There are some good riders here in Austin and I'm sure that along with the lessons you would get to ride some with them. I would email him and get the names and email/ phone numbers of some past participants and speak to them about the camp.

I went for a 3 day camp last year and liked it so much that I went for another 3 day camp a few weeks later. Billy was a great instructor and I learned 2 new inverts and started grabbing my spins. I got really lucky when I went back for my second 3 day session Shawn Watson was staying at Billy's while he was in town for the Trip Across America tour. It was a great experience and would recommend it to anyone.
P.S. while I was there him and his roomate Stone were building the sickest gap slider I've ever seen. Tell them Wes said what up if you go  |

| I haven't seen Billy since he started his camp but I rode with him a few years ago when him, Luke Wulf, & Greg Nelson came to town with the D.U. experience. Super nice guy, I would recommend him!!! |

| wow Wes that sounds like a killer time. I'm going to book my session for sure. Was Shawn by himself on the LF bus? ANYBODY ELSE HAVE ANY INPUT ON THIS CAMP? |
