|
|
| I want to buy my first wakeboard and bindings but I don't know what kind or where to find bindings that will fit my feet. I have size 15 and I tried to look around the Internet but I couldn't find any so far. And I don't want to spend that much because I am just starting. Any suggestions of where and/or what to look for? Thanks |

| Hahaha, I know you guys are making fun of me for my big feet but I was wondering about something with bare foot skiing, how fast do you need to go to stay up? Thanks for the one suggestion. |

| What do you guys know about the Jobe Air Wake Boots? I found some that might fit, they say they fit up to size 15.5. Are Jobe bindings any good? Thanks |

Yeah, sometimes u just gotta get on them planes quick!... kjr, I'm not familiar with the Jobe bindings. Look around, try some on if u can but spend a little more and get some high-end bindings on sale somewhere...bindings are argueably (sp) ur most important piece of equipment... ur feet and ankles will thank u for it. _________________ Take A Rip! |

We share the same size feet. I use the Blindside Stomp. They fit well, are secure, and very supportive. Do not skimp on bindings. Bad bindings may be terminal for riding due to ankle support and knee twisting. If you are just starting out and not trying for the major air, use a lace-up adjustible for the first season until you know what you want. You should be able to score some for about $150 or so. For that matter, for $200, I can sell you a good board and binding setup from my close out bin. If interested, e-mail me at rider@boarditup.com.
As for barefooting - it goes by weight, not foot size. I weigh 250 and require 45 mph to stay up, 47 is better. Barefooters wear special wetsuits with built in padding in critical areas to cushion the falls. There are barefoot foot-skis that enable you to foot at about 25. They are great training aids. They will fit your feet. I can get them to you, also. _________________ Original Boarder from 1983
