Does anybody know the max continuous current handling capacity for the equioment dash switches on a '90 Prostar. I plan to wire two pumps off one switch, total current draw will be 30A.

Yip, use a relay, that way you can use a shorter run of wire from the battery to the relay to the pump, use a heavy guage of wire if the pumps have high current draw.
