if you really like your board, why would you switch? So you'd be riding a Parks?

wakeboarder_22, i hate to break it to you, but its winter everywhere above the equator, its just colder where you live.

if you hare happy with your board, i would stick with it unless you want to spend money. the temet and parks are two very different boards, so i would wait till spring and demo it before you make a decision

Half the problem with chosing a board is not riding it first. I have always rented or borrowed boards first prior to purchasing anything.

Don't you like the Temet? I am partial to the Parks and Byerly but wouldn't force them on anyone. My advice is rent or borrow first, buy later.

Unless you have a few hundred dollars just burning a hole in your pocket.

Why didn't you think of this before you bought your temet?

Why don't you just buy a used parks on e-bay try it out if you don't like it wait until spring and sell it. The boards on e-bay go for a little more in the warmer months so you will probably get your money back if not make a little.

wakeboarder_22, You are talking about two totally different boards. I ride the parks and like it, but i hate the temet. If you like the temet i would stick with it. The temet seems to be a good board for people that ride with more weight on their back foot. It has a continuous rocker so it is more predictable and more for going out into the flats.

The parks is a three stage and wider board. It has an abrupt pop, sends you straight up. It also is very quick. Turn it on edge and you are gone.

All in your style of riding. Like everyone says, demo first. Boards cost to much to go buy and ride a couple times and decide you don't like it, at least for me. And when you demo, take it for a couple sets and then switch back to the temet and then back to what ever board you demo. That way you can tell the major difference in the two.

wakeboarder_22, 90% of the people on here can't tell the difference between one shape or another. Be like everyone else and get the board that you think will make you the coolest.

How is the Parks a better board for doing tricks? Because P Diddy rides it? Watch Murray ride the Temet... I guarantee you it will not limit your riding abilities.

i wouldnt base your choice on wakeboards by the pros who ride them. parks could ride a 2x4 better than any of us could ride his board, so just pick what you feel most comfortable riding.

If you're not being sarcastic (and I hope you are)...some people refer to Parks as P-Diddy, they aren't talking about P-Diddy the hip-hop mogul.

If you want to demo stuff, and you don't have a shop arround you, go to Trinity boardshop, its free to demo any of the hyperlite gear and u have it for a couple weeks. I think the site is www.trinityboardshop.com, yes you can demo stuff through the internet with this shop, they carry Hyperlite and I think one or two other board companies, I'm not sure though. But where u want to demo a Parks u'll be all set. Just outta curiousity, when did you get your Temet?
