What kinda wake do you look for in a boat?
narrower wake, more peak at the top with less volume of water. It has
more compression creating a vertical wake.
OR
wider wake, less peak at the top with a higher volume of water. Less
compression creating a wider wake. |

It's all based on you, many people like many different things, personally my favorite has been behind a wakesetter, but I have yet to ride behind the "other big two." _________________ Im going muddin at waketoberfest 2004

I like hard transitional wakes that stay big and clean around 22-24. Hella weight spread out. I like a clean crisp lip thats predictable and doesn't wash or spike up from the slightest change in conditions. I like the wake to be so big and well-formed that you can 'pump' off the swell and up the wake for extra pop. Too steep or narrow can make for a bucking wake w/ inconsistent pop.
All this talk and the water temp is about 45. AAAGH. |
